July Days...
Okay so it’s been awhile. I guess I’m still getting use to this blogging thing. Funny thing is in high school I used to write in my journal everyday as well as the occasional short stories and poetry... Well lots has happened since my last post. I did end up also getting the flu from Fabian a few days later which was oh so fun. And I have now been officially diagnosed with carpal tunnel by 2 or 3 different doctors, one of which said it has been coming more common in my age group due to the heavy usage of computers. Also I have been going to the chiropractor to help with my neck pain. I have a so called; military neck- that has no curve and is perfectly straight - the doctor is always surprised by my x-rays. So the new chiropractor ( I just switched a few weeks ago) has me doing a bunch of at home stuff that I love. Without the chiropractor I have a hard time moving my head to the side and have tons of upper back pain. My lower back is doing generally great! its amazing the difference it has had the last year or so.
On the travel front I went to Utah for my brother’s wedding and had lots of fun there :o) Of course I took tons of photos of the wedding, and enjoyed the opportunity to practice her skills, most of them are posted on facebook. Once we came back to vegas I was able to hang out with my cousin and his wife, Chris and Megan, who came to vegas for a fun vacation weekend. Sadly I don’t have any pictures to document this :o( But it was soo great to see them! and we had fun.
School Wise; Janelle just finished her summer semester classes!!!!!!! I also celebrated this by seeing the Dark Knight movie on opening night. Grades just came in yesterday on Wednesday! and the hard work paid off!!! I got a C amazingly in Medieval History thanks to my Final! and Bs in Medical Terminology and Medical Professions classes!! So yesterday I celebrated by going out to eat at Sweet Tomatoes Salad and Soup bar!! SOOOOO GOOOOO! It is a healthy food restaurant with so many good choices and waay fresh food, and not at all a bad price. WIth School Janelle only has 3 classes left from byu-i to complete in order to graduate.
Also in this blog I want to mention the wonders of my favorite 99 cent store!! This is where I get more than half our weekly groceries as well as other household supplies. It has conveniently and amazingly cut the monthly Walmart bill in half! Now I must say this particular 99 cent store also has a nice fresh food section and it is because of this place I have been able to eat more fruit and veggies! Hilarious, I think so! we just bought a bag of about 10/13 oranges for 99 cents! cool huh!? and I can get bananas there too sometimes (the selection changes) and they have these really healthy lunch meats etc... so yay just thought I would share my excitement with that!
Oh weather wise! I love it! 103, 110! its nice, hair dryer like - yay.
