Today I made a post!! woo hoo!! i really hope to keep this up....
the name of this post is obvious for the month, and it was also a cute movie, some parts were a bit long, but overall lets give it 4 stars! so today i was actually just thinking about, not participating about games. games like age of mythology, oblivion, life....all different types. i really think that alot of them can aid in development of certain attributes and obviously some more than others. i really like board and card games; these games i think are more so included in the previous statement. my favorites are usually a bit more relaxed or chance or just plain fun (life, sequence, nerts...) they require decent amount of skill. but i love ones that really make you think, like chess or word games and such, ones that can increase your learning (vocabulary etc...). now to the more modern counterparts (lol) are the gaming systems and computer games. these are usually entertainment purposed. i do admit tho i have become quite attached and attracted to various games in this category lately. my favorites on the computer are age of mythology / battle for middle earth - both these game play is very similar. they allow you to develop a town/race and then as the story progresses you must protect/conquer other invading races. verrrry fun. this actually open my eyes to a whole other world of electronic gaming. and then of course i must mention the wonderful attractions found on the wii and ps3 consoles. the wii - i have fallen in love with the zelda games! sword fighting action and horse riding is waay fun to swing around a bit!! i also admit that i enjoy wii fit with its yoga/therapy (at least for me) twist also. the ps3 has a different range of graphics than the wii and also offers bluray. ( i also not these two specific consoles since I own both :o) my favoite game is oblivion!! is a great rpg, highly interactive game. this one i havent actually touched in awhile due to its addictive quality, you get so immersed in the land that hours go by too quickly.....well those are all my thoughts for now. random yes, especially since i haven't actually played those in awhile-lol.
this would also be an opportune moment to mention my ironic email address.

oblivion is after the game. heroes for my favorite tv show! ( if you havent seen it, you should!! it is soo good!)
as for an update on everything else. i think i'm about to officially declare job hunting my actually job, cept i don't really get paid for it. i'm getting really worn out and tired after 2 months and no luck. if the money wasn't needed i would sure give up. i've totally lost count of how many resumes i've put out, but i do about 10 average a week. so most my time is spent cleaning and organizing the apartment. organizing is my favorite, today i did the closet, its almost done, just wish I had a dvd/cd rack to place all them on, that would free up a whole shelf in the closet.
oh today i also had an adventure! geez i almost forgot to mention this! so i went out in the late afternoon to run some much needed errands and ended up grabbing a bite to eat at jack in the box. then it started thundering (i would venture to say the loudest cracks of thunder i think i've ever heard!) and then raining, a bit hard, so i got my food, (only one car in front of me) and decided i better get home quick, the flash flooding is horrendous here. so i got my food and it had lightened up. so seeing this as a good sign, but still being cautious, i decided to turn right from the lot and go up the hill rather than left (the way i came) that was more at the bottom of the hill. so i as i sat waiting for the moment to turn, the rain began to come down harder. okay. so lets just get home i thought. so finally i turn and i'm going up the hill, thinking this was probably a smarter idea than going down the hill in the rain and as i approach the light where i need to turn left the rain lets up again, which was reliving since it was coming down really hard on my car. i turn left at the light, i'm now about 2 minutes away from home (jack in the box is about 5). now the rain is pouring and the wind is strong. the street is flooded and moving. so about halfway down this street (valle verde) my car started to skid and i lost control for a bit. this is were i decided that i didnt like how this was going-lol. so since now my windshield wipers were on high blast and i all of a sudden couldn't see a foot in front of me, i was approaching another signal, this is where i pulled to the side of the street as much as i could and put on my blinking emergency lights. and what did i do next - call my mom!! hah ha. and yes i did!! she helped me calm down and coached me a bit, this was my first experience driving in the the monsoon rains of las vegas. luckily i made it through the next light without any problems after waiting awhile, but ended up having to wait a bit on the next light/intersection, since the water was pretty deep there and cars were having obvious trouble. after the intersection i was about 2ish blocks from my apartment building. then i had to carefully maneuver in the parking lot of the complex, it was a river! in the parking lot i felt the force of the water more.....so yeah that was my adventure today! and Thanks Mom for helping me out.

You are so lucky that you have Wii fit. I think that it is so hard to find!
That rain story sounds scary. I remember one time I was driving in Dallas and the streets seemed to turn into a river. It was many years ago, and I do not wish to repeat the experience.
